Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650: what fits, model by model

On the 650s, the question is never whether a part exists but whether it sits right on yours. Two pieces of information settle it almost every time: the exact model — Interceptor 650 or Continental GT 650 — and the year.

So here is what we have on the shelf today for the 650s, which bike it fits, and what we do not carry. Twenty-four active parts: twenty-one of our own making, three we carry for other houses. The parts that bear our name are designed and developed in France, at the workshop.

Bodywork and protection: what fits both

These listings name the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 alike.

  • Side panels — they replace the original covers and keep both the right-hand panel's key lock and the space for the original tool roll. Sold in pairs. The listing covers model years 2018 to 2024.
  • Oil cooler guard — aluminium, it shields the oil cooler from stone chips without restricting airflow. Fits without modification. The listing carries no model year.
  • High front mudguard — aluminium, it mounts under the original lower yoke without modification, and still works with our machined yokes. No model year on the listing.
  • Scrambler rear mudguard with brake light — it replaces the original mudguard and inner fender, rear light and plate light included. Designed around the original twin seat. Supplied bare, ready to paint. No model year on the listing.
  • Flyscreen — it fits in seconds onto the original headlight brackets and wraps around the headlight ring. Supplied bare, ready to paint. No model year on the listing.
  • Horn covers — machined aluminium, they hide and protect the horns. Sold in pairs. No model year on the listing.
  • Sump guard — 4 mm aluminium, it protects the frame, the engine and the oil filter. Steel mounting brackets included. Model years 2018 to 2024, dispatched in 3 to 5 working days.
  • Xtrem sump guard — same material, wider coverage: frame, oil filter and exhaust headers. Steel support brackets included. Model years 2018 to 2024.

Footpegs, controls and front end

Same rule: these listings name both 650s.

  • Footpegs — billet aluminium. No model year on the listing.
  • Scrambler footpeg plates — they replace the original rubber section and markedly improve grip. Fitted in seconds, sold in pairs. Model years 2018 to 2024, dispatched in 3 to 5 working days.
  • Pillion footpeg relocation brackets — they move the pillion footpegs 90 mm forward and 20 mm down. No model year on the listing.
  • Brake pedal — machined aluminium, adjustable, replacing the original part. The listing's tags cover both 650s while its text names only the Interceptor: tell us your model and we will confirm before dispatch.
  • Machined gear lever — same remark: adjustable, machined aluminium, tagged for both models and written for the Interceptor alone. We check it with you.
  • Machined fork yoke kit — aluminium, steering stem included and integrated into the lower yoke, over 2 kg saved at the front end. Two versions: Racer, made for clip-on bars, and Roadster, which keeps the original bar clamps and handlebar. Pick the right one. No model year on the listing.
  • Short licence plate holder — it replaces the original holder, plate light included. The rear light and indicators remain your choice, in a 3-in-1 unit. Model years 2018 to 2024.
  • Mini indicator adapters — they let you replace the original front indicators with M8-mount units of your choice. Sold in pairs. No model year on the listing.
  • Oil filler cap — machined, for both 650s. No model year on the listing.

What fits only one of the two

Three parts cover one model only. That comes from the listing, not from an approximation on our side.

Suspension and filtration: what we carry

Three parts we carry without signing them, ordered by model.

  • Shock Factory 2WIN shocks — Interceptor 650 — a pair, machined and anodised aluminium bodies. One knob per shock, 14 clicks: compression and rebound move together. The original units only adjust preload. Model years 2019 to 2025. Each pair is set to your kitted weight at Sermérieu, in the Isère: allow about two weeks. Two things to know before ordering — no TÜV approval, and not shipped to the United Kingdom. Natural anodised or Black Edition finish.
  • Shock Factory 2WIN shocks — Continental GT 650 — same mechanics and same adjustment, with the model's own mountings. Model years 2019 to 2025. The same TÜV and United Kingdom caveats apply.
  • Green Filter air filter — part number MR0661. It fits the standard airbox in place of the paper filter, with no modification and no remapping. Oiled cotton media: it washes and re-oils instead of going in the bin. Both 650s from 2019 on.

Shock Factory builds and sets up at Sermérieu, in the Isère; Green Filter Europe produces at Troissereux, in the Oise. We carry their parts, we do not sign them.

The lever guard you choose on a measurement

The 13-18 mm lever guard pairs a CNC-machined aluminium elbow with a moulded ABS arm. Available singly, brake side or clutch side, or as a pair, in black or aluminium. The arm can be ordered on its own: damage it and you replace the arm, not the whole guard.

What sets it apart: it is not chosen on a bike model but on a measurement. The adapter goes inside the handlebar and suits inner diameters from 13 to 18 mm, with a minimum depth of 52 mm. Take the inner diameter of your bar and its usable depth. No calliper to hand? Send us a photograph of the bar end and we will look at it with you.

Model years: what the listings actually say

Better said plainly. Of the twenty-four parts, eight carry a model year and sixteen do not. The five parts of our own making that carry one state 2018-2024; the Shock Factory shocks state 2019-2025 and the Green Filter 2019-2026. Those ranges come from each listing: they are the spans each manufacturer gives, not one consolidated compatibility range.

What that means in practice: if your 650 is earlier than 2019 or later than 2024, the year matters. Give it to us and the workshop checks the part before you order.

A word on the Bear 650: it has no active part in the catalogue today. If that is your bike, write to us — we will tell you what fits and what does not.

What we do not carry for the 650s

Better said than left for you to hunt for. Not in the catalogue today, for either 650: exhaust systems or silencers, seats and upholstery, clip-on bars listed for these bikes, rearsets, rear loops, wheel axle sliders, headlight and instruments.

The Öhlins shocks once listed for the 650s are no longer for sale. For rear suspension on these bikes, what we offer is the 2WIN above.

Unsure about your model year?

Write to info@motographe.com with the model — Interceptor 650 or Continental GT 650 —, the year and, if you have it, the frame number. The workshop checks and answers before you order. It is quicker for everyone than a return.
