Triumph 765 and 1200: what fits, model by model

A part that does not sit right is a parcel heading back. On a Triumph, two pieces of information settle it almost every time: the exact model — R, RS, RR — and the year. We would rather ask for them before the order than handle a return after it.

So here is what we have on the shelf today for the Triples, which bikes it fits, and what we do not carry. The parts that bear our name are designed and developed in France, at the workshop.

Street Triple 765 R and RS

This is the best-served platform in the Triumph catalogue.

  • Front sprocket cover — it replaces the original plastic item. An ABS base carries a machined aluminium cover: easier access to the final drive, and a finish plastic will not give you. The listing covers the Street Triple 765 R and RS, model years 2018 to 2025.
  • Front brake reservoir cap — machined aluminium, replacing the original plastic cap. The listing names the Street Triple 765 R and RS as well as the Speed Triple 1200 RR and RS. It carries no model year: tell us yours and we will check it before we prepare the order.
  • Headlight spoiler — moulded ABS, matt black, UV-treated. It fits onto the original screws and mounting points, in a few minutes. The listing names the Street Triple 765 R and RS and the Speed Triple 1200 RS.
  • Licence plate holder — black epoxy coating, adjustable tilt, indicator brackets adjustable to three positions. It takes any plate 175 mm wide or more. The listing covers the Street Triple 765 R and RS, 2021 to 2024. To keep the original indicators, specific mounting brackets are required and are ordered separately. This holder is made by Zieger; we carry it.

Speed Triple 1200 RR and RS

Two parts shared with the 765, plus the lever guards below.

Trident 660 and Daytona 660

  • Lever guard — a CNC-machined aluminium elbow and a moulded ABS arm. Sold singly, brake side or clutch side, or as a pair; in black or aluminium. This version ships with an adapter made for the Trident 660 and Daytona 660, the Street Triple 765 and the Speed Triple 1200, with or without the original bar-end mirrors. The ABS arm can be ordered on its own: break it and you replace the arm, not the whole guard.
  • Shock Factory M-SHOCK rear shock — for the Trident 660, model years 2021 to 2025. One knob sets compression and rebound together, over 48 clicks, where the original shock only adjusts preload. Two heights: standard, or 25 mm lower at the seat. Each shock is assembled to the rider's weight at Sermérieu, in the Isère; allow about two weeks between order and dispatch. Two things to know before ordering: the part has no TÜV approval, and it is not shipped to the United Kingdom. This shock is made by Shock Factory; we carry it.

The lever guard you choose on a measurement

There is a second version of the lever guard, in 13-18 mm. Same part, different mounting: the adapter goes inside the handlebar and suits inner diameters from 13 to 18 mm, with a minimum depth of 52 mm.

That one is not chosen on a bike model but on a measurement. Take the inner diameter of your bar and its usable depth: if you fall inside the range, it fits. No calliper to hand? Send us a photograph of the bar end and we will look at it with you.

What we do not carry for Triumph

Better said than left for you to hunt for. Not in the catalogue today, for any of the Triples: exhaust systems or silencers, air filters, fuelling modules, screens, rearsets, clip-on handlebars, wheel axle sliders, rear loops. The Triumph catalogue runs to seven active parts — the ones in this article.

Unsure about your model year?

Write to info@motographe.com with the model, the year and, if you have it, the frame number. The workshop checks and answers before you order. It is quicker for everyone than a return.
