Two-up leather seat for the BMW R nineT, hand-made in France by BAAK. It mounts straight onto the original BMW base plate: no cutting, no modification to the pan.
The leather
Full-grain leather, double vegetable-tanned. Vegetable tanning lets the material age rather than wear out: the seat takes on its patina with the miles.
Four leathers to choose from: aged brown, black, gold and chocolate. The photographs show aged brown; the swatch in the last image shows all four.
The stitching
Classic top-stitching or diamond top-stitching, your choice. Diamond stitching is offered as an option at checkout.
The build
- High-density foam with a mesh overlay, spreading the load along the length of the seat.
- Waterproof plastic layer isolating the foam from moisture.
- Weight: 7.2 kg.
Fitment
BMW R nineT, R nineT Pure, R nineT Racer, R nineT Scrambler and R nineT Urban G/S, model years 2014 to 2023.
Not compatible with the BMW R12 nineT (2024 onwards), which uses a different base plate. A dedicated reference exists for that model.
